This means that the hygienist records digital measurements of how your gum tissue relates to each tooth. Six of these measurements are made per tooth and recorded digitally to generate a graphic presentation that you see on our in room monitors and that our doctors explain. You benefit from this because it allows us to illustrate, in a way that makes sense, how you are doing in fighting off the disease that leads to loss of teeth. You also benefit from our ability to superimpose these images over each other from previous visits to today and analyze your progress. Why wait until teeth become loose and hurt?
